THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced, people-centered leader to join our team as Assistant Director. In this role, you will partner closely with the Restaurant Director and Operator to lead daily operations, develop our leadership team, and champion a culture of excellence and hospitality. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a clear path to Director-level leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily front- and back-of-house operations to ensure consistent execution of food quality, speed, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
- Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop Shift Leaders and Team Members — building a culture of accountability, growth, and genuine teamwork.
- Guest Experience: Model and champion remarkable hospitality at every touchpoint; resolve guest concerns with urgency and empathy.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage labor, food cost, and inventory to meet operational and financial goals without compromising the guest or team experience.
- Systems & Standards: Ensure adherence to all Chick-fil-A policies, food safety standards, training procedures, and operational systems.
- Culture Carrier: Actively shape and protect a positive, people-first culture where every team member feels valued, developed, and inspired to do their best work.
- Recruiting Support: Assist in identifying and attracting top talent; participate in the onboarding and training of new leaders.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2+ years of leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or a high-volume service environment.
- A servant leader who leads by example and genuinely invests in others.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and influence across a team.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and resilient under pressure.
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays (Sundays always off).

- Competitive base pay – Paid hourly based on 45-50 hour work week (40 @ regular pay + 5-10 @ overtime rate). Pay range is $19-$21 per hour.
